"Belletristic Journal Editing"

Literary journals showcase the best fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry being published today; journals affiliated with colleges and universities also often play key roles in English departments and creative writing programs. Editing these belletristic journals is very different in many ways from editing scholarly journals, but there are some similarities as well. In my short talk I'll discuss some differences between the two types of editing, and I'll cover the basic process of selection and publication of material for literary journals.
